In pursuit of higher education, Amir enrolled at Amar Singh College in Srinagar and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in 2018. While pursuing his academic goals, Amir discovered his true passion for photography, a realization that would set the course for his career.

To refine his craft, Amir joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune in 2018, where he completed a certification course. Even as he pursued his creative interests, Amir remained committed to academic excellence. After earning his B.Com, he completed a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree from the University of Kashmir in 2021.

During this period, Amir worked as a travel agent for nearly a year, a role that exposed him to diverse cultures and landscapes. This experience further enriched his artistic perspective, inspiring him to capture the essence of human stories through his lens.

A Career Breakthrough in Dubai

In 2022, Amir moved to Dubai, where he joined GMG, a leading retail conglomerate, as an Accounts Assistant. However, his creative instincts soon earned him a promotion to the role of Photographer and Filmmaker.

Over the next two years, Amir collaborated with internationally acclaimed brands, including Nike, Geant, Monoprix, Franprix, Monop, and Aswaq. This period was marked by his transition into commercial photography and filmmaking, where he developed a unique style that combined technical expertise with storytelling.

In 2024, Amir returned to Kashmir to focus on his passion full-time. Armed with international experience and refined skills, he began exploring India’s cultural and geographical diversity.
